Where is hemp fiber produced in the world?
The largest producer of hemp is china and contributes to about 70% of the total world’s hemp cultivation. Although manufacturing of hemp as a textile material in China is quite less and hemp is cultivated for other purposes fuel, paper, or other industrial products. The second largest producer of hemp is France succeeded by Austria, Chile, and the United Kingdom. There are about 30 countries across the globe that cultivate hemp with some of the prominent ones being India, Germany, Italy, Yugoslavia, Japan, and Peru.
