KnitMesh Technologies launches advanced PyroCore mesh

KnitMesh Technologies has announced the launch of PyroCore Pyrotechnic Actuator Mesh, a high-performance knitted wire mesh designed for use in demanding pyrotechnic actuation systems.

The PyroCore range builds on the company’s long-standing expertise in actuator and airbag filter solutions. Developed using decades of experience in safety-critical applications, the product is designed to ensure controlled gas flow, efficient filtration, heat control and reliable energy management in extreme operating conditions.

PyroCore has been engineered to support modern pyrotechnic devices by managing shock waves, limiting sudden temperature increases and capturing particles released during activation. This helps deliver consistent and dependable performance in situations where conventional filter materials or components may fail.

The company works closely with clients across the automotive, aerospace, defence and industrial sectors to develop customised knitted wire mesh solutions. Each PyroCore product can be adapted to specific system needs, including choice of materials, mesh structure, component shape and integration into existing assemblies.
