Recover, a global producer of recycled cotton, has launched RecoverOne, a new range of fibre blends made entirely from recycled materials. The blend combines Recover recycled cotton with recycled polyester to produce soft, smooth and durable fabrics for applications across the textile industry. Available as a consistent, colour-ready-to-spin blend or as fabric through Recover’s supply chain partners, RecoverOne is suitable for products including single jersey, French terry and fleece.
The material is produced using an intimate blending process that combines the original colours of textile-waste feedstocks with colour-matched, dope-dyed recycled polyester fibres. According to Recover, this approach improves blend accuracy and colour consistency while creating a uniform material ready for spinning. By matching the colours of the recycled inputs, RecoverOne eliminates the need for downstream overdyeing and is available in solid, heather and mélange options.
Recover said RecoverOne builds on the environmental benefits of its recycled cotton while providing additional savings through the elimination of overdyeing. According to the company’s life-cycle assessments for Spain and Bangladesh, verified by EcoReview in 2022 and 2025, Recover recycled cotton can reduce water consumption by up to 99.9% and carbon emissions by up to 93% compared with conventional cotton fibre. The company positions RecoverOne as a scalable recycled-material solution as demand for circular textile inputs grows.
