HUGO BOSS
HeiQ announces that the German premium fashion company HUGO BOSS, has revealed the first product made with HeiQ AeoniQ™ fiber- a seamless, high-performance polo shirt.
With that, the business achieves a goal in the collaboration that will allow the replacement of synthetic fibers to lessen their environmental impact.
The item is manufactured of 87% HeiQ AeoniQ™, a cutting-edge cellulosic yarn with the same performance properties as polyester that is produced from certified wood pulp, one of the numerous sustainable raw sources it may be constructed of.
The Italian tennis star Matteo Berrettini is seen wearing this new design, which is a part of the BOSS Green collection range. It was created for urban surroundings with BOSS’ famed performance-driven qualities.
In limited supply, the HUGO BOSS worldwide eCom is offering the inaugural Innovation drop of the Polo Shirt.
Carlo Centonze, HeiQ CEO, said that the first product release by HUGO BOSS, makes the idea of switching from polyester to a more sustainable alternative tangible while preserving all the attributes that made synthetic fibers so popular. They formerly referred to HeiQ AeoniQ™ as a project. For the benefit of the planet, it is now a brand that fulfills its promises of sustainability and real circularity.
In HUGO BOSS’s quest to become the world’s top premium tech-driven fashion platform, the exciting cooperation with HeiQ marks yet another significant turning point. This game-changing technology will allow HUGO BOSS to further push innovation and sustainability throughout their brands’ offerings, delivering measurable benefit for the environment and society alike. This is consistent with their bold mission statement, “We Love Fashion, We Change Fashion.”
