Champion, Aries launch boxing-inspired streetwear collection

Champion, part of Authentic Brands Group, has announced a new collaboration with Aries, inspired by the sport of boxing. The capsule collection is based on the intense and physical nature of boxing. Aries has reinterpreted Champion’s well-known Reverse Weave designs by using deadstock jerseys that have been treated to give a worn look.

Sofia Prantera, founder and creative director of Aries, shared that she has always appreciated vintage Champion for its authentic feel. She explained that the collaboration aims to take this heritage in a bolder direction, drawing inspiration from boxing and mixed martial arts to reflect energy and strength in the designs.

The collection includes 10 unisex pieces and will be launched on April 9. It features a colour range of black, grey, navy, and red. To promote the collection, Champion and Aries have worked with professional British boxers Harlem Eubank and Tiah Mai Ayton, with the campaign photographed by Douglas Irvine.
