Renfro Brands partners with TrusTrace on traceability

TrusTrace, a global SaaS company with a market-leading platform for product traceability and supply chain transparency in fashion and retail, announced that Renfro Brands, a venerable designer and manufacturer of socks and legwear, has selected the TrusTrace platform to support its traceability efforts.

Shameek Ghosh, CEO and Co-Founder of TrusTrace, said that Renfro Brands is devoted to creating a positive influence on the world and sees supply chain traceability as a crucial aspect in reaching their goals. Renfro Brands will be able to measure and document progress towards its sustainability goals using the TrusTrace platform, as well as centralize its current supply chain data for continuous compliance with legislation like the UFLPA.

Through its Project Footprint program, Renfro Brands has a long-standing commitment to sustainability and community impact. All of the suppliers for Renfro Brands have so far earned at least one sustainable certification, such as OEKO-TEX, GRS, or ISO. By 2030, Renfro Brands wants to employ sustainable yarns and materials in all of its products. With a target of 100% by 2030, just 30% of its packaging components are currently recyclable or reused.

Jonah Buelin, SVP Supply Chain of Renfro Brands, said that the TrusTrace platform is a key tool that will enable people across the globe to attain a life well-lived, by conserving our planet now and for future generations. At Renfro Brands, achieving their environmental objectives is a major focus. TrusTrace will standardize the collection, digitization, and sharing of their supply chain mapping and material tracing data.

As raw materials and completed goods flow through the supply chain, TrusTrace, a leader in fashion supply chain traceability, provides verified data in real time to 40+ international fashion and retail brands. The TrusTrace platform connects smoothly with systems from retailers, manufacturers, and suppliers as well as other third parties like certification bodies, lifecycle databases, and other sustainability solution providers because of its open architecture.
