Filo showcases ‘Made in Filo’ collection in 66th edition

The 66th edition of Filo is once again showcasing its “Made in Filo” collection, an initiative that transforms materials supplied by exhibitors into finished fabrics to demonstrate their creative and technical potential. The collection brings together yarns and materials provided by exhibitors and highlights how their technical characteristics can be translated into different fabric structures and effects.

The latest edition is centred around “Botanica”, the theme of Filo66’s product development proposals. The collection explores three distinct interpretations, “Spontaneous”, “Expanded” and “Hybridised”.

For “Spontaneous”, relatively simple yarns have been used to create fabrics with a natural and understated character. “Expanded” draws inspiration from the idea of an Italian garden, incorporating delicate weaves and subtle surface effects. “Hybridised” takes a more experimental approach, combining highly structured jacquards with more technical yarns to create complex textile surfaces.

The project brings together Filo, participating exhibitors and several partner companies, with the aim of demonstrating not only the aesthetic possibilities of the materials but also the technical processes behind their transformation.
