H&M shut down its sustainable multi-brand platform Itsapark

Swedish fashion giant, H&M, has shut down Itsapark, it’s sustainable multi-brand portal.

The decision was made to “leverage the strategic learnings from Itsapark” and incorporate them into the H&M brand to “ensure a greater effect and audience,” according to the group.

Itsapark’s customer-facing operations were shut down in November, with the “majority” of its staff offered jobs at H&M.

In 2019, the site debuted as a community-driven, digital fashion guide based on questions and responses. Last year, however, it was repurposed as a platform for marketing sustainable businesses and teaching consumers about environmentally-friendly fashion.

An H&M spokesperson said that Itsapark has gained substantial understanding within the segment of sustainably driven fashion, beauty, and lifestyle in a short period of time. To capitalize on those strategic insights, they’ve opted to incorporate Itsapark’s talents and assets inside the H&M brand, ensuring a wider impact and audience.
