Lululemon x MLB
Canadian activewear brand Lululemon has introduced its first collection with Major League Baseball (MLB) in partnership with Fanatics. The launch marks the brand’s latest expansion into licensed sports apparel after the successful introduction of its collections with the National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Football League (NFL).
The Lululemon x MLB collection includes performance wear, lifestyle apparel and accessories for both men and women, covering all 30 MLB teams. The collection combines Lululemon’s signature designs with the official logos and branding of each baseball team.
Carla Anderson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of North America at Lululemon, said the company is committed to creating high-quality products while supporting communities. She added that the partnership with Major League Baseball and Fanatics provides a unique opportunity to bring people together through sport, fitness and community engagement.
The collection features several of Lululemon’s popular products, including the Scuba Hoodie, Define Jacket, Align Pants, Everywhere Belt Bag and Coach’s Jacket. It also includes a Leopard Print Lightweight Run Shell and a Multi-Pocket Running Anorak.
Sam Archibald, Chief Merchandising Officer of Fanatics Commerce, said the company is pleased to strengthen its partnership with Lululemon by bringing the brand’s premium apparel to fans of all 30 MLB teams. He added that the collaboration supports Fanatics’ strategy of expanding its women’s product range while giving fans more ways to showcase their team loyalty on game days and in everyday life.
