Thomas Scott to launch Dockers brand in India

Thomas Scott (India) Limited (TSIL) has signed a long-term licensing agreement with ABG-Dockers LLC, a subsidiary of Authentic Brands Group, to introduce and expand the American apparel brand Dockers in the Indian market.

Under the agreement, TSIL has been appointed as the exclusive licensee for Dockers in India. The company will oversee the brand’s complete operations, including product design, development, manufacturing, distribution, retail and e-commerce.

The partnership is expected to expand Dockers’ presence in India by combining TSIL’s manufacturing capabilities with its experience in product development, retail and distribution.

Dockers will enter the Indian market as a bottomwear-focused lifestyle brand. Its first Autumn/Winter 2026 collection will include chinos, trousers and denim for men, women and children, along with a selected range of apparel and lifestyle products.

The brand plans to gradually expand its product portfolio to include shirts, T-shirts, accessories, footwear and innerwear. It will initially follow a digital-first strategy through its own online platforms and e-commerce marketplaces before expanding into exclusive brand stores, shop-in-shop formats and multi-brand retail outlets.
