Nylon yarn price weakens in China

In China, semi-dull FDY70D/24F prices fell US cents 5 a kg in the second week of December while FDY40D fell US cents 10 a kg.

Nylon DTY 70D/24F prices were at US$2.56-2.72 a kg. DTY 30D/10F was stable at US$3.34-3.50 a kg.

Monofilament 30D was down US cents 10 a kg and 1.5D staple fiber declined US cents 10 a kg.

Nylon filament yarn markets sustained the weakness and prices declined on low operating pressure on range-bound raw material cost.

Downstream fabric makers were cautious of following up, resulting in slow liquidity in the nylon yarn market.
