Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics 2016, the 22nd edition of China International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics and Accessories, one of Asia’s most comprehensive and biggest platform is gearing up for its Spring edition, due to take place this March as over 3,000 exhibitors from around the world have already confirmed to partake in trade fair.

The fair’s organizers are continuing their efforts to ensure buyers can easily access their target products in the new venue, and as such, a number of pavilions and product zones will feature.

Asian paraxylene markers were down US$2.25 a ton FOB Korea and CFR Taiwan/China in the last week of December 2015.

Paraxylene prices in Asian markets declined on the week on softer crude oil prices and weak downstream demand.

Rwanda wants to develop its own textile industry, cut imports of garments and create jobs through the factory for which the Rwandan government is contemplating a joint venture to set up a garment factory in the capital Kigali with Chinese investors.

As every year, the East African nation is said to spend over 15 million dollars importing second hand clothes. Last year, imported clothes both new and second hand cost Rwanda over 100 million dollars.
