Recover, a materials science company and one of the world’s largest producers of recycled cotton fiber, has launched Recover Yarns, a new portfolio of ready-to-use yarn solutions designed to help increase the adoption of recycled cotton across the apparel industry.
Created in collaboration with a global network of spinning partners, Recover Yarns offers a broad range of yarn constructions, blends and technical specifications. The portfolio supports various applications, including denim, workwear, jersey fabrics, fleece and premium woven textiles, all produced using Recover’s low-impact recycled cotton fiber.
With the introduction of Recover Yarns, the company now provides an integrated offering that covers the entire value chain, including fiber, yarn, fabric and blank garments. This connected system aims to improve transparency, traceability and circularity throughout the production process, from raw material sourcing to finished products.
“By transforming our fibre into ready-to-use yarns, we are helping brands and manufacturers turn their sustainability goals into practical action,” said Anders Sjöblom, Chief Executive Officer of Recover™.
The new platform simplifies the sourcing and development of recycled cotton yarns while allowing partners to benefit from the established reputation of Recover™ recycled cotton fiber. The material is supported by full traceability, transparency, life cycle assessment data and proven environmental benefits.
