Neela unveils circular denim collection

At the recent Kingpins exhibition in Amsterdam, Neela by Sapphire Fibres, the denim division of Sapphire Group from Lahore, Pakistan, introduced a new circular denim collection developed in partnership with Recover, a global leader in recycled fiber solutions.

This sustainable capsule collection is made from three specially developed fabrics that combine Recover’s RCotton and RDenim fibers with modal and conventional cotton. The blend maintains the softness, comfort, and appearance of traditional denim, demonstrating the potential of regenerated fibers to serve as reliable and high-quality alternatives.

One standout feature of the collection is its zero-dyeing approach, made possible by Recover’s fiber technology. By using RDenim and RCotton Black fibers, the fabrics achieve rich shades of *blue and black without relying on indigo rope dyeing. As a result, the fabrics not only save resources but also eliminate the need for additional laundry treatments.

Another highlight is Recover’s physical tracer technology, which enables on-site verification of Recover fibers in the final product through a scanner. This adds a new layer of traceability and transparency in the supply chain, helping brands and consumers make informed, responsible choices.
