A-Cold-Wall x Kickers
Kickers has introduced a limited-edition collaboration on Kick Hi Boot with the fashion label A-Cold-Wall. The partnership reflects the shared identity of both brands, which are strongly connected to London’s street culture and everyday urban life.
While the limited-edition boot still keeps the original Kick Hi shape, A-Cold-Wall has redesigned the footwear using distressed leather uppers inspired by its post-industrial design language. This is balanced with suede panels that cover the lacing system and the back heel. Inside the shoe, exposed foam is combined with a soft sheepskin lining for added comfort and a premium finish.
Alex Roberts, head of brand at Kickers, said that after celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Kick Hi, the company is excited to move the boot into its next phase through this collaboration with A-Cold-Wall. He added that the Kick Hi has been part of everyday life for many generations and has continually been reinterpreted by those who wear it.
Speaking about the collaboration, A-Cold-Wall said that in the United Kingdom very few brands share the same emotional connection as Kickers. The label noted that in London especially, Kickers is closely linked with memories from people’s formative years and represents an important stage in many individuals’ lives. The brand added that its goal was to reinterpret the Kick Hi while keeping the well-known silhouette, but introducing new materials and updated detailing.
