Archroma, Prosperity Textile partner for denim innovation

Archroma has partnered with denim manufacturer Prosperity Textile to develop processes aimed at improving the quality, durability and sustainability of denim fabrics. The collaboration will focus on creating, evaluating and implementing new solutions to enhance denim aesthetics and performance while supporting more sustainable manufacturing practices.

The partnership combines Archroma’s expertise in textile chemicals with Prosperity Textile’s fabric development and manufacturing capabilities. Prosperity Textile’s vertically integrated manufacturing infrastructure is intended to support the rapid development, testing and industrial implementation of new denim technologies.

Archroma’s Super Systems Denim Director Jordi Calucho said the partnership would help move innovations from development to market through testing and large-scale production. Prosperity Textile Director Stafford Lau highlighted the company’s experience in denim manufacturing and its smart factory infrastructure as important resources for accelerating product development.

Prosperity Textile has also demonstrated a commitment to responsible manufacturing, becoming the first denim producer in China to join the bluesign system. The companies expect the collaboration to explore new possibilities across both classic and contemporary denim applications.
