Hyosung TNC has announced plans to expand the production of spandex for personal hygiene products at its manufacturing facility in Brazil. The expansion is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its global production network and provide customers with a more reliable and localized supply.

With this expansion, Hyosung’s personal hygiene spandex production network will span five countries, South Korea, China, India, Turkey and Brazil. The company said this wider manufacturing footprint will improve production flexibility, strengthen supply chain resilience and provide better support to both global and regional customers.

The new production capacity in Brazil will bring manufacturing closer to customers across the Americas, helping reduce delivery times, improve response speed and lower logistics, duty and tax-related costs. Hyosung also said its local manufacturing and technical teams will work more closely with customers to speed up product development, improve quality and respond quickly to changing market demands.

With five personal hygiene spandex manufacturing facilities worldwide, the company said it is well positioned to support future market growth through continued capacity expansion and reliable product supply.
