Cirql has introduced new midsole materials designed to support sustainability goals and reduce carbon emissions. In its latest report, Cirql stated that its rTPU50 material can reduce the total carbon footprint by 39 percent compared to standard virgin TPU materials.
Cirql produces finished footwear components and high-quality materials at its manufacturing facility. These materials are designed to be industrially compostable, biodegradable, or fully recyclable. The company aims to reduce footwear waste and prevent shoes from ending up in landfills. Its product range, including Cirql rTPU30, Cirql rTPU50, Cirql Zero, and Cirql Zero36, provides footwear brands with sustainable material options to help meet their climate targets.
To measure the environmental impact of its materials, Cirql partnered with Carbonfact, a company specializing in product life cycle assessments. Carbonfact used factory performance data and a carbon accounting platform that follows international standards such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
