Nudea
Nudea, a B Corp certified underwear brand, has partnered with L&E Showroom, a sales agency with offices in Manhattan, to enter the US market.
Nudea is a company that specializes in fashionable, yet functional underwear with an emphasis on fit and comfort. It was founded in 2019 by businesswoman Priya Downes. It is offered for sale in the UK through a variety of independent retailers and its website.
The Pencil Test in Washington and Oregon, Lilies and Lace in Wilmington, North Carolina, and Armonk, New York, La Peche in Manchester Center, Vermont, Aristelle in Portland, Maine, and Art of Intimates in Amherst, Massachusetts are among the North American stockists it has now added after its partnership with L&E Showroom in New York.
Downes said of the expansion that they’re really eager to increase Nudea’s presence in the US. It’s wonderful to see their company’s strong commitment to sustainability resonating with stockists and gaining momentum. Since she spent six years living on the East Coast, this is extremely meaningful to her. In particular, Christina and Nicole at L&E Showroom’s dedication and support for female-founded, ethical, and sustainable products particularly struck a chord with them. They’re thrilled to collaborate with them as they grow.
Recent product additions from Nudea include its first Tencel Seamless Collection, which is inspired by loungewear and features a multiway non-wired bralette and an incredibly flattering high leg brief, and its new Second Skin Collection, which is made from recycled microfibre and offers non-wired bra options and briefs in black and three shades of nude.
The brand offers simple-to-use fitting tools so that online customers may purchase the appropriate fit the first time as part of its commitment to sustainability. It also emphasizes the use of recycled and quality textiles, and all of its goods are shipped in packaging that is recyclable and made in factories that are completely certified by GOTS and SLCP.
43 bra sizes from 30A to 38GG and 7 short sizes from XXS to XXL are offered in Nudea’s lingerie.
