Arvind to double revenue to Rs100cr from Tresca brand in next 2 yrs

Arvind Limited, Ahmedabad-based textile and branded apparel major is planning to increase the number of outlets 10-fold from the current count and put premium apparel brand Tresca on fast track growth path with eye to double its turnover in the next two years.

Apparel brand Tresca which was launched three year back has current turnover of around Rs 50 crore.

Susheel Kaul, chief executive officer - lifestyle fabrics, Arvind Limited said that because of their aggressive plans for brand building, they are targeting to double their revenue to Rs 100 crore from Tresca in the next two years and by 2020, they expect to achieve Rs 200 crore revenue.

Shridhar Soni, head of sales and marketing at Arvind DTR business, said that Tresca plans to increase the number of outlets from 1,100 to 10,000 in the next two years. They have a very clear roadmap in mind, which has started reflecting in their operations and strategy.

Apart from this, the company is also planning to spread network overseas. It will open 400 overseas outlets in the next two years.

In order to bolster the brand, Arvind will have new product launches as well as expansion in distribution network.
