Advance Denim partners with Good Earth Cotton for Positive Impact Collection

Advance Denim has announced its partnership with Good Earth Cotton®, to produce a fully traceable denim collection made with climate-friendly fiber and clean indigo coloring techniques.

This movement is part of Advance Denim’s continued dedication to a novel production approach that prioritizes environmental preservation while also raising innovation and quality.

Good Earth Cotton is a traceable, climate-positive kind of cotton that absorbs more carbon than it emits over the course of its full growth cycle while maintaining provenance and transparency with safe, auditable data.

Advance Denim and Good Earth Cotton both share a vision for a fashion industry that is more environmentally conscious, and together they are using Good Earth Cotton as a tool for change to upend conventional farming and manufacturing methods and reduce the environmental impact of cotton and denim as a whole.

By 2023, Advance Denim wants to use 90% eco-friendly fibers in all of its products. The 30-year history of the company affirms that environmental protection is a requirement for growth. Their commitment to ongoing sustainable modernization has produced breakthroughs like BigBox Dyeing and BioBlue Indigo, which produce cleaner indigo dye by using 95% less water and do away with hazardous sodium hydrosulfite that was previously used during the dyeing process.

Mark Ix, the US marketing director of Advance Denim, said that Advance Denim is proud to announce that they will be adding another layer of sustainability to our Advance Sico mill in Nah Trang Vietnam by partnering with Good Earth Cotton, bringing denim made with contemporary regenerative cotton to the Vietnam region. Both Advance Sico and Good Earth Cotton are driven to create high-quality, sustainable, and fully traceable products because of their shared dedication to sustainability and carbon reduction.

According to Good Earth Cotton, it uses contemporary regenerative and intelligent farming techniques to minimize its impact on the environment globally and maximize soil health while raising participants in the global supply chain to the status of change agents. Good Earth Cotton is totally traceable thanks to the strength of FibreTrace technology, which provides end-to-end traceability in real-time to enable scientifically supported data and narrative.

In December 2022, the first item from the cooperation collection between Advance Denim and Good Earth Cotton® will be made available.
