Hong Kong-based home textile brand Casablanca has introduced the CASA-V 7A Uplift Dry & Glow Series, a new quick-dry bedding collection designed to improve moisture management, breathability and freshness. Casablanca said the new collection has been developed to meet the growing demand for bedding that performs well in hot and humid climates while providing a clean and comfortable sleeping environment.
The company noted that Hong Kong’s warm and humid weather, along with similar conditions across many Southeast Asian countries, makes it difficult for bedding to dry completely after washing. During the rainy season, humidity levels often exceed 80% or 90%, causing sheets and bedding to remain damp for longer periods.
The collection is made from a specially engineered fabric blend consisting of 45% modal and 55% polyester. According to the company, this combination speeds up moisture evaporation while maintaining a soft and breathable feel. The fabric combines the moisture management, softness, breathability, shrink resistance and wash durability of TENCEL™ Modal fibres from Austria’s Lenzing with the strength and thermal comfort of polyester. The result is a bedding fabric that dries quickly, stays fresh and provides lasting comfort even in humid conditions.
The CASA-V 7A collection also features the company’s proprietary antibacterial technology, which uses far-infrared resonance to provide antibacterial performance without changing the fabric’s physical properties or processing characteristics.
