Italian company Aleph launches two digital printers for the textile sector

During ITMA 2015, Aleph Team presented to the international market the two new industrial large format digital printers LaForte®Paper and LaForte®Textile, delivering high performance and allowing the quickly creation of high quality finished product with precision. Blended yarn prices rise in India, stable in China

In India, 30s (65/35) PV warp yarn prices regained INR1 a kg (up US cent 1) in the last week of February in Indore market. In Ludhiana, PC 30s (52/48) prices further gained INR1 a kg during the week.

Blended yarn exports of India declined 4% in January largely due to fall in prices while domestic prices regained its previous week’s fall to neutralise weakening INR.

In China, imports of yarn have fallen as domestic prices were down due to falling cotton prices. However, PSF and VSF prices were firming up as yarn makers resumed operation. Blended yarn prices generally rolled over.

Viscose yarn price moves up in India, China

In China, mainstream prices of 40s compact siro-spun yarn in Jiangsu gained US cents 5 a kg in the last week of February while 30s spun viscose in Xiaoshan were up US cents 2 a kg. Cash-based offers ring-spun 30s yarn were at US$2.68-2.72 a kg.

Prices for spun viscose yarn remained steady to up, and liquidity was smooth for siro-spun yarn. In China, viscose yarn makers generally resumed normal operation and were fulfilling past orders. Citing rising VSF prices, offers were raised in tandem to rising cost.

A memorandum of understanding signed between the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre of HCM City (ITPC) to facilitate the exchange of investment and trade information between the two sides. NA body recommends approval for Pak-Korea technical textile centre

National Assembly Standing Committee on Textiles has unanimously recommended approving the proposal of Pak-Korea Technical Textile Centre, the first state-of-the-art-textile centre of the country after considering its benefits. NA body has also recommended approving Rs54 million for textile centre on Friday.

From Pakistani funding, a building will be constructed while Korea will provide consultants who will not only train local scientists but will also carry out research activities. Korea will also equip the state-of-the-art centre.
