Indian designer Vaishali Shadangule, who recently showcased her creations at the prestigious New York Fashion Week (NYFW) gets noticed globally. Shadangule said that the consistency of innovative and original work is increasingly creating a new space for Indian fashion and designers in the international segment.

The current collection is a mix of Khadi, Merino wool and different weaves of India. The designer has successfully produced and presented 19 collections at prestigious events such as the New York Fashion Week, FDCI (Amazon/Wills) Fashion Week, and Lakme Fashion Week to date.

The 11th winter edition of the Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show (DIFS) 2017 is set to begin tpmorrow in the capital. The show will cater to the ever growing garments industry of Bangladesh.

At the Karachi Cotton Exchange on Monday, trading activity remained slow. KCE recorded domestic transactions of around 5,000 bales from six stations in between Rs6,150/maund to Rs7,000/maund.
