Italian technical sportswear brand X Tech has partnered with advanced yarn producer Fulgar to unveil a new line of performance garments crafted with Q-Skin, a cutting-edge polyamide 6.6 yarn infused with silver ions for superior hygiene, comfort, and freshness.

The capsule includes four versatile garments designed for cycling and training: a long-sleeved zip jersey, bib shorts, and two Energy jerseys, one with short sleeves and one with long. Each piece is engineered to function as a standalone item in warmer weather or a base layer during colder rides.

At the heart of the innovation is Fulgar’s Q-Skin, a yarn engineered to deliver antimicrobial performance. Silver ions embedded during spinning interact with bacteria to inhibit their growth, reducing odor and improving garment hygiene. The yarn has been independently tested and shown effective against bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

Beyond its antimicrobial properties, Q-Skin offers high breathability, freshness, and dermatological compatibility, making it ideal for activewear designed for endurance and long hours of wear.
