The 2016 edition of Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen is entering its final preparation stages with the show set to attract key industry players to do business in the heart of China’s textile manufacturing region and welcome new design studios from the UK who will be making their debut.
Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; the China Textile Information Centre; and the Shenzhen Garment Industry Association.
Approximately 700 exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the UK will cover a wide range of sourcing options across 30,000 sqm exhibition space in halls 6, 7 and 9 of the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.
Ms Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager of the fair organizer Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said that as the South China apparel market is increasing in importance within the country, more overseas suppliers are eager to expand their business in this region, and they are pleased to see that many of them are utilizing Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen to do so.
Amongst the many overseas exhibitors are two debut UK design studios, Fairbairn & Wolf Studio and Liberty Art’s print design. Both these studios are enthusiastic about joining the fair for the first time.
