Truetzschler Nonwovens & Man-Made Fibers sells its staple fiber technology

The Truetzschler Group is a specialist in fiber preparation for the yarn spinning and nonwovens industries producing excellent products at 9 locations in six countries around the world. Truetzschler Nonwovens & Man-Made Fibers GmbH in Egelsbach sells its staple fiber technology to the Manmade Fibers Segment of Oerlikon Group a globally leading company in the field of surface solutions, manmade fibers, drive systems and vacuum generation.

The Oerlikon Group will integrate the staple fiber technologies into the Oerlikon Neumag business.

Oerlikon and Truetzschler will ensure that the agreed objectives of fast and reliable spare parts supply will be achieved to the satisfaction of all their customers.

Truetzschler Group’s business with spinning plants for carpet yarns (BCF) and industrial yarns (IDY) is not affected by this change.
The company will concentrate on the strategic development of its two other businesses, i. e. nonwovens machinery and filament lines.

With this restructuring in Egelsbach they will focus on their capacities and competencies on the key topics of their nonwovens’ customers. It will shorten the time to market their innovative solutions and will further strengthen their worldwide service said Dr. Georg Reinhold, managing director and CEO of Truetzschler Nonwovens & Man-Made Fibers GmbH, Truetzschler’s name stands for technological innovations as well as for a high level of customer focus. In this regard, they will set new standards.

Truetzschler Nonwovens & Man-Made Fibers is part of the Truetzschler Group and based in Egelsbach, Duelmen and Winterthur. The companies supply nonwoven machinery from bale opening to winding including all web bonding technologies. The man made fiber product range comprises spinning plants for carpet (BCF) and industrial yarns.
