Spinnova's R&D yarn spinning line has been launched at Tearfil's mill in Portugal. Spinnova and Tearfil initiated a yarn development partnership in June 2023, sharing the spinning line's capacity. The machinery for the spinning line was provided by Rieter, a leading supplier of yarn production systems worldwide. This R&D spinning line is utilized for product experimentation and testing of SPINNOVA® fiber, aiming to refine the fiber for diverse applications in large-scale yarn production and to facilitate collaborative development with industrial partners.
