Scott Racing's team gets sustainable uniforms

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2022-03-21 08:20:38 – Italy

Scott Racing's team uniform was designed for the third year in a row by warp knitting specialist Sitip, based in Cene, Bergamo, Italy, in partnership with ROICA EF of Asahi Kasei and Rosti.

The uniform is made of Sitp's Native Sustainable series of highly technical textiles that are breathable, soft on the skin, and abrasion-resistant, with excellent shape retention.

GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certified recycled yarns and chemicals, as well as Asahi Kasei's premium Roica EF stretch yarn, were used to create the fabrics.

The uniform shirt was made from Native-Bicimania and Native-Pirata recycled polyester materials, which were supplemented with Microsense Soft Performance technology for maximum skin comfort.

In the meanwhile, the shorts are composed of Native-Thunderbike Power recycled polyamide, as well as Roica EF. Sitip's Eclipse Sun Protection technology ensures maximum coverage.
