Roica to showcase global stretch innovations at Performance Days 2026

Roica by Asahi Kasei will present a curated range of advanced textile innovations at Performance Days 2026. The display will bring together leading European partners along with two Japanese textile specialists, highlighting how stretch performance can support different approaches to fabric design and development.

The showcase will include a wide variety of textile developments such as advanced warp-knit structures and engineered materials. It will offer a complete view of how elastic properties contribute to modern sportswear, activewear, and lifestyle textiles.

Among the European partners, Brugnoli will present fabric innovations designed for both everyday wear and sportswear. Its Explosive Cotton Plus and Explosive Micromodal fabrics use special technology to provide stretch, muscle support, and moisture control, incorporating Roica stretch fibres such as Roica V550.

Cifra, known for its expertise in warp knitting, will showcase garments developed with Wolford. These athleisure pieces combine Econyl and Roica V550 to deliver comfort, flexibility, and a refined look, while also improving efficiency and reducing waste through advanced knitting techniques.

In addition to the European partners, Roica will also feature two Japanese textile specialists. Imai Kigyojo, with more than 70 years of experience, will present lightweight and breathable fabrics created using advanced knitting techniques, offering refined textures and adaptable fit through Roica stretch fibres.
