Recover, Polopiqué new partnership to drive circular fashion

Two textile industry innovators, Recover™ and Polopiqué, have joined forces in a new multi-year collaboration to achieve sustainable manufacturing and deliver end-to-end solutions for the fashion industry.

Polopiqué is a leading textiles company that stands out for its verticality and innovation. From spinning, weaving, and finishing to the creation and commercialization of high-quality items, the Portuguese company masters all stages of the textile production process.

The two firms can support brands and retailers at every step of the supply chain by incorporating Recover™ fiber into their processes, making it simple for brands to produce fully sustainable apparel, at scale.

The Portuguese company is committed to scaling by vertically integrating its production cycle into the industry’s value chain, and its goods currently comprise at least 50% organic cotton and GRS certified recycled polyester. The company will decrease its ecological footprint even more by adopting Recover’s low-impact recovered cotton fiber.

By partnering together, the two firms are extending their global reach and proximity to customers, with Polopiqué now exporting to 47 countries and working with 1065 partners worldwide, and Recover™ opening new production hubs in Bangladesh and Pakistan in 2021 to meet current market demand.

Polopiqué and Recover™ have decades of combined textile industry experience in their respective domains. They will both benefit from the new partnership, which will allow businesses to employ Recover’s recycled cotton fibers across their product lines while also assisting them in meeting their sustainability goals and combating the environmental challenges that cotton use creates.
