Soorty, Pakistan's largest vertically integrated denim firm, has announced a 6.26 MW captive Solar Power Project as well as a 750 kW/369 kWh Reflex Energy Storage System (solar hybrid controller). The project is spread out throughout Nooriabad and Landhi. Soorty will become Pakistan's second facility to house an energy storage solution as a result of this project.

Soorty has been investing in revolutionary technologies for years, creating ecologically and socially responsible denim production processes that help minimize the use of water, chemicals, and energy. The 6.26 MW Solar PV plant is estimated to generate 9,198 MWh (Megawatt hours) per year. The generated energy will be used on-site, resulting in significant savings for the organization. Over the course of the project, the energy generated will save roughly 5656 Tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions, which is comparable to planting around 229,950 trees.

Soorty has also supported NASDA Green Energy Limited in its efforts to generate wind power. The Windfarm, located in Sindh, Pakistan, began producing 50 Megawatts of safe, renewable electricity for the national grid on May 1, 2022. The initiative's energy will save roughly 67,000 Tons of CO2 equivalent emissions per year on the national grid, which is comparable to planting nearly 300,000 trees per year.
