MSHCL Nagpur organized National Handloom Expo begins today

National Handloom Expo 2017 begins from today with around 67 participants from 9 states. Maharashtra State Handlooms Corporation Limited (MSHCL), Nagpur which is also known as Indrayani Handlooms has been entrusted responsibility to organize the expo. There will be special rebate of 20 percent on all purchases.

There are wedding sarees, dress materials, furnishing clothes, casual wear traditional and ethnic fabrics put on display at the expo.

Sanjay Meena, Managing Director of MSHCL said that the Corporation was producing excellent qualities of wild and natural silk like Tussar, Mulberry silk in the form of Tussar Karvati Sarees, dress material, scarves, stolls, jackets, kurtas-kurties, and in cotton like bed sheets, chaddars, towels, napkins, darries and sarees etc.

These products are marketed by the trade mark of ‘indrayani Handlooms’ through exhibitions within the State/out of State, sales counters, e-marketing through its own website www.indrayanihandlooms.com. The products of Vidarbha Karvati Tussar saree, Paithani saree, Ghicha clothes and its garments are the handloom brand products.

The MSHCL’s expert team under the leadership of V D Nimje, Joint Managing Director is working hard for the success of the expo.

The National handloom expo covering an area of 41,000 square feet is held at Kasturchand Park and will run from February 11 to March 5 between 11 noon to 9 pm.
