At Google Cloud AI Live Milano 2026, Mimaki demonstrated how artificial intelligence and digital printing can work together by using its direct-to-film (DTF) technology to turn AI-generated designs into personalised T-shirts printed on demand.

During the event, participants created unique visuals using Google’s Gemini AI, which were then instantly printed onto T-shirts using the Mimaki TxF300-75 DTF printer. The live demonstration showed how AI-powered creativity can be combined with professional digital printing to produce personalised, high-quality garments in real time.

The activation highlighted a complete workflow, where each design began as an AI-generated digital concept before being transferred onto a T-shirt using Mimaki’s DTF technology. While visitors experienced a personalised product within minutes, the demonstration also showcased how brands, event organisers, and creative businesses can convert digital interactions into customised physical products quickly and efficiently.

Reliable printing technology played a key role in the live personalisation experience. The Mimaki TxF300-75, part of the company’s TxF Series for professional DTF production, was used to print the customised T-shirts. The TxF Series supports high-quality decoration on a wide range of materials, including cotton, polyester, blended fabrics, and performance textiles, making it suitable for T-shirt printing, event merchandise, promotional products, sportswear, fashion, and branded apparel.
