MeUndies releases swimwear line made from recycled materials

MeUndies, a men’s and women’s underwear, sleepwear, and loungewear company headquartered in the United States has launched MeUndies Swim, a collection of swimwear made from recycled plastic bottles and recycled nylon fiber.

MeUndies’ latest range is made of eco-friendly, super-soft, and stretchy fabric that is not only comfortable in the ocean but is also good for the ocean.

The latest swim collection follows MeUndies’ recent launch of the movement-inspired Breathe range, which marked the company’s first foray into a new fabric. MeUndies, representatives and fans will make a splash this summer in the swim collection’s fresh colours and vibrant limited-edition prints, which can be mixed and matched across different styles.

The MeUndies swim collection for women includes one-piece bathing suits as well as two bikini styles: a scoop or plunge bikini top and high-waist cheeky or swim bikini bottoms. The parts are constructed from recycled nylon and discarded fishing nets, making them both durable and soft.

The collection for men comprises both regular and long swim trunks, each of which is made from about eight recycled plastic bottles, according to MeUndies.

The swim collection debuted with limited edition prints including Birds of Paradise, Rock Lobster, and Angles in black, white, and terra cotta colours, in keeping with MeUndies’ regular drop cadence.

The company released three new prints inspired by sea animals, as well as a solid Scuba Blue on May 21, 2021. According to MeUndies, the final decline will be in mid-June and will feature all-new nautical colours and prints.

Founder and CEO of MeUndies, Jonathan Shokrian, said MeUndies Swim was a long-requested category by their community, so their team worked hard to create a long-lasting, super-comfortable swim range. Their new swim line is unique in that it upholds their values of sustainability, comfort, and self-expression. It not only comes in a multitude of colours, colourful prints, cuts, and sizes but it is also manufactured from recycled plastic. Their swim  collection includes all their consumers enjoy in their underwear and loungewear.”

MeUndies creates ultra-soft essentials for men and women, including underwear, socks, sleepwear, and loungewear, as well as swimwear. The brand is known for its culture of inclusivity, body positivity, and openness, as well as its MeUndies Gives program and regular drops of colorful, chic prints in its MicroModal line.
