Made of Stories debuts a Rio de Janeiro-inspired slow fashion collection

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2021-05-11 09:28:35 – Brazil

Made of Stories recently released their Dance in Rio Collection: Luxury Chapter. This set is a tribute to life in Rio de Janeiro, incorporating two facets of the city's culture that are sorely missed: travel and festivities. The trends are influenced by the jungle, Rio's dance parties, and the city's vibrant neighborhoods.

Dresses, jackets, sportswear, swimwear, shoes, and accessories include Joyous bananas, flamingos, soccer balls, monkeys, and tiles mixed with soft materials. They're made for ladies and men who love color and want to stand out in wearable art.

The Luxury Chapter was designed by Made of Stories' founder, a Greek-Russian avid traveler based in London. She is an optimist who is constantly searching for opportunities to incorporate things into her daily life that remind her of beautiful travel stories.

The garments are custom-made in London and other places around the world. For CO2 efficiency, each item is produced in the nearest location to the consumer. The company is attempting to be more sustainable and not encourage over-consumption by having each order's garments made by professionals in a one-of-a-kind fashion.

Made of Stories is releasing destination-inspired collections, showcasing inspirational facets of each area's life. This is the fifth collection from Made of Stories. Morocco, Bali, Greece, and Bavaria were the destination of the previous ones.
