Lee x Feng Chen Wang
The Lee x Feng Chen Wang have partnered to launch a collection which reimagines classic denim styles using deconstruction and handcrafted techniques. The designs feature uneven seams, new proportions, and fabric treatments such as laser detailing and tie-dye, giving a fresh look to traditional silhouettes.
The collection is inspired by Feng Chen Wang’s connection to nature and her mix of traditional Chinese elements with modern streetwear. Bamboo patterns are used throughout the designs, created using laser techniques. The bamboo symbolises strength and flexibility, reflecting how denim changes and adapts over time.
The men’s collection includes pieces such as the Rider jacket with a relaxed fit and adjustable back, a cowboy jacket with bold front panels, barrel jeans with wide legs, straight-fit jeans with panel detailing, a relaxed denim shirt, and an oversized logo T-shirt.
The women’s collection features a cropped zip-up denim jacket, low-rise loose jeans, a denim skirt with an uneven hem and raw edges, a cropped logo T-shirt in indigo and white, and an oversized denim shirt.
Feng Chen Wang explained that the collaboration reinterprets Lee’s iconic 101 styles in a modern way while respecting its long history. She shared that bamboo inspired her designs, which combine natural forms with experimental cuts and washing techniques to reflect both tradition and change.
