KPR Mill plans expansion of its processing capacity investing Rs 120cr

Coimbatore-headquartered KPR Mill Limited is one of the largest vertically integrated Apparel manufacturing companies in India producing Yarn, Knitted Grey & Dyed to scale up garment capacity plans expansion of its processing capacity with advanced cold processing technology, to meet additional requirement.

The project is expected to be completed in nine months for which project cost is estimated to the tune of Rs 120 crore and the firm plans to fund its expense through internal accruals and debt.

The capacity addition is set to double from 25 MT from 50 MT per day. It is also scaling up its garment capacity from 59 million pieces to 95 million pieces per annum, making it the largest garment manufacturing company in India, the company said.

Advanced continuous process technology eliminates salt usage in the process.

The Company has ‘State-of-the-Art’ production facilities in the State of Tamil Nadu. Its yarn division has 3,53,088 spindles with a production capacity of 90,000 MT per annum. With the most modern machinery of International.

While, the Fabric division is equipped with high speed automatic circular knitting machines that can knit 27,000 MT per annum of different kinds of fabric. Its Fabric Processing unit has a capacity to process 9,000 MT per annum with trendsetter ETP.

Vertical integration of manufacturing process enables it to customize products as per the client’s specifications with consistent quality assurance in a cost-effective manner. KPR creates fashion trends for men, women and children.
