Lockheed Martin X Doojin Corporation
A Korean clothing company has obtained permission to use the Lockheed Martin brand for selling clothes in Korea. This follows a trend in Korea where unusual western brands like CNN or Kodak are licensed by apparel companies.
The Doojin Corporation is responsible for this development. They introduced the Lockheed Martin Apparel brand to be a part of the gorpcore trend. Doojin also manages other brands with unique names, like Brown Breath.
Lockheed Martin Apparel specializes in streetwear. What makes it different from competitors like the Korean brand Mischief is that their clothes feature the logos and designs of the US-based defense company, Lockheed Martin.
The collections from Lockheed Martin Apparel are inspired by pilots and include items like branded beanies, articulated cargo pants, shirts with prints of F-35 fighter jets, and windbreakers with removable sleeves.
Due to its success, Doojin plans to make Lockheed Martin Apparel available in more stores, including Musinsa. They are also sending their products to influencers in Korea and the United Kingdom.
