KAVALAN And Epson PVC-Free Partnership to be displayed at FESPA

Attendees at FESPA 2022, which takes place in Berlin, Germany from May 31st to June 3rd, will be able to observe KAVALAN PVC-free materials in action. KAVALAN Sunlight Weldable frontlit material will be produced live on the Epson booth in Hall 4.2-C30, thanks to cooperation with Epson Europe B.V.

Epson’s SureColor SC-R 5000 Series resin printers and SureColor SC-S Series eco-solvent printers will be on display.

Heather Kendle, Manager Product Management, LFP Business, Epson Europe B.V., said that Epson is happy to be partnering with KAVALAN printing on PVC-free Sunlight Weldable frontlit material with the water-based resin ink SC-R5000L printer.

As brands and organizations seek practical and creative methods to implement environmentally-responsible practices, this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo will have a strong emphasis on sustainability. Many exhibitors are anticipated to display innovative sustainable solutions on their exhibits, and the brand new Sustainability Spotlight feature will give practical, educational, and actionable guidance to address the demands of People, Planet, and Profit.

Rob Karpenko, KAVALAN’s European Sales Director, will talk at the Sustainability Spotlight on June 2nd at 14:00, entitled “The Future is PVC-Free – Are You Getting Left Behind?” Rob will demonstrate what it means to take responsibility for your company’s environmental impact, including the viability of corporate recycling infrastructure, the reality behind “greenwashing,” and the long-term effects of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), as well as equipping attendees to embrace a greener future without sacrificing profits or product performance.
