Supply Chain
Kappahl, a fashion chain in the Nordic region, has entered into a strategic collaboration with ToolsGroup, a well-known Software Company specializing in retail and supply chain planning and optimization. This partnership aims to improve planning decisions, strengthening and accelerating Kappahl’s business expansion while also enhancing supply chain.
As a significant retail chain with around 340 physical stores and a thriving e-commerce platform, Kappahl offers responsibly-produced everyday fashion in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, and the UK. Kappahl has chosen ToolsGroup’s JustEnough Dynamic Retail Planning & Execution Suite for this collaboration.
The solution integrates Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) and Assortment Planning (AP) with Kappahl’s existing technological setup. MFP enables the retailer to create dynamic plans across buying seasons within its omnichannel ecosystem, ensuring alignment across departments with financial objectives.
Caroline Ahlberg, Vice President of Kappahl Assortment and Marketing, highlighted the importance of scalable business practices and planning solutions in navigating the dynamic retail landscape. She emphasized ToolsGroup as a long-term partner with the expertise and solutions necessary to support their evolving supply chain network and drive the digital transformation essential for customer satisfaction and future business growth.
