K11 Musea is collaborating with the designer Phillip Lim to launch a limited-edition antiviral duffle bag.
The partnership surfaces Chang’s latest launch for #LoveWithoutBorders Covid-19 charitable campaign and has merged the two to create an accessory that utilizes a sustainably produced, textile-enhancing technology that is antibacterial and ensures accelerated cooling and drying.
The new Phillip Lim x K11 Musea antiviral burgundy duffle bag set to arrive in stores on November 10th was designed as a part of 3.1 Phillip Lim’s ‘Live Free’ collection. The design features Fuze Biotech’s antibacterial textile technology. It is a chemical-free application that can be applied to any surface or textile to prevent and protect against bacteria, mold and infectious diseases. The finishing is also odor resistant.
It has been designed specifically to ensure the users can live freely and confidently. Lim and Cheng express that the duffel not only protects the wearer against bacteria and viruses but also showcases the powers of global cooperation, creativity and unity in the age of Covid-19.
Phillip Lim stated that he was proud to take their collaboration into the market and hope to encourage a more connected and cooperative future. Live Free and #LoveWithoutBorders share the same core identity of bringing people together to build a more sustainable and supportive global community.
In addition to the tote, Cheng will donate medical face masks to various organizations in an effort to support the continued health and safety of citizens around the world.
Cheng stated that he had always considered Phillip to be a pioneering force in the fashion industry and Philip’s creative approach to supporting and encouraging others through his art had inspired him to make an effort to build a better future.
