To supply global and indian automobile makers with solutions in high-end performance fabrics for seating systems is the focus of the new Adient Arvind Automotive Fabrics in the city.
Advanced material division (AMD) has vigorous investment by Arvind. Adient expects the JV to be included in its consolidated financial statements, as the majority stakeholder in the new company with a 50.5 per cent share.
The aim was to accelerate their manufacturing of innovative automotive fabrics by combining Arvind's manufacturing capabilities in India with their global design and technological resources as quoted by vice-president of global fabrics at Adient Mr.Jeff Vercammen.
