How BYD makes 50 million face masks per day

BYD’s Shenzen center makes 5 million face masks daily.

The plant was reported to be operating at full capacity and able to produce an enormous 5 million masks and 300,000 bottles of medical-grade hand sanitizer per day. Now, BYD says it’s making an astounding 50 million facemasks per day.

“Together with the mortal coronavirus raging across the world and a worldwide face mask shortage, BYD mobilized its sources to the creation of masks,” said in its publication. From the research and design of molds and industrial equipment, allowed the company to create high-quality masks record time.”

World-class manufacturing sites and manufacturing lines were specially built, and the company now has the capacity to build 50 million masks daily! Strict quality controls enabled BYD to obtain several significant international certificates.
