Heimtextil India 2016, an international exhibition of home furnishings got underway in New Delhi on Wednesday, on the day Indiaâ€™s cabinet approved a package of measures to boost the textiles sector. The trade fair was inaugurated by Delhiâ€™s Minister for Industries Satyendra Jain.
The trade fair organized by German trade fair organizers Messe Frankfurt will be held from June 22-24 at the Pragati Maidan exhibition grounds, where over 200 companies from India, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, China, Japan, Korea and Russia are participating with their collections in dining, living and home textile segments.
