Ganni launches first genderless collection

Danish fashion brand, Ganni, has relaunched its responsible line, “Software”, as a genderless collection, a first for the Scandinavian fashion brand.

The collection includes the Copenhagen-based brand’s signature leisurewear and rainwear, which may be worn by both men and women. The collection, which is available in EU 32 to EU 44 sizes, includes three new styles that are expressly created to be genderless.

The Software collection is made of certified responsible materials like organic cotton, recycled polyamide, and Tencel lyocell, and each fabric is fully traceable from stage one to four of the supply chain.

The relaunch is part of Ganni’s intention to provide more exclusive sizing, following its goal to make 25% of its 2022 collections available in extended sizing for shoes, swimsuits, and ready-to-wear.

Ditte Reffstrup, Ganni’s Creative Director, said that he is always impressed by how different people wear their outfits. #GanniGirls is a mental state, not a fixed persona or identity. There’s a reason its plural. The goal has always been to make as many individuals as possible feel included in what we do. Everyone is invited.
