Organized by the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC), the Global Apparel Conference (GAC) drew over 1,000 global leaders from industry associations and companies representing nearly 20 countries and regions. These included Italy, France, the UK, Spain, Germany, South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Morocco. Held in the port city of Humen in China’s Guangdong Province, the conference focused on fostering international collaboration in the dynamic global apparel industry.

The conference, operating under the theme "Together for a shared future," served as a platform for international cooperation in transforming the textile sector. The CNTAC's initiative aimed to promote transparency, cooperation, and a conducive environment for the industry's evolution. The GAC featured a comprehensive program addressing critical issues in the clothing industry, including an opening ceremony, gala events, themed forums, and various side events, facilitating the exchange of expertise, research findings, and insights.

Integration, cooperation, and transparency were central themes throughout the GAC plenary session, culminating in the publication of the Global Apparel Conference Vision (Humen Vision). Themed forums covered important topics like "From digitalization to supply chain planning," "From fashion trends to cultural roots," and "From environmental protection concepts to production technologies."

Reflecting on the success of the event, Sun Ruizhe, president of the CNTAC, expressed optimism about the future, emphasizing the necessity of international cooperation for joint development in the global fashion industry. The event's success confirms a positive outlook, and the CNTAC looks forward to continued initiatives with even more global players in the industry participating in future events.
