Everlane, Masters of Flax Fibre to launch fully traceable linen collection

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2026-03-24 13:44:19 – France

Everlane has partnered with Masters of Flax Fibre to introduce a new linen collection that is fully traceable. The linen used in this collection is grown on cooperative farms across France, Belgium, and Netherlands without irrigation or genetically modified organisms. The material can be tracked from the seed stage to the final garment.

Alfred Chang, CEO of Everlane, stated that the brand has long used responsibly sourced linen as it represents the future of sustainable materials. He explained that full traceability helps create transparency and accountability, which modern consumers increasingly expect.

This new collection is part of Everlane’s broader efforts to lower its environmental impact and promote circular practices. According to the company’s latest impact report released last April, 90 percent of the materials used in 2024 met its preferred sustainability standards, including recycled, organic, responsibly sourced, or FSC-certified materials.

The company stated that it is close to achieving its goal of using 100 percent preferred materials. It added that certified fibers like Masters of Flax Fibre linen play an important role in reaching this target by allowing better measurement of environmental impact, continuous improvement, and greater transparency.
