Eclipse launches eco-friendly bedding collection

At this week’s High Point Market, bedding American manufacturer Eclipse International will debut its Natural Dreams Pure Talalay range.

The collection is designed into three sections and includes mattresses made with all-natural Talalay latex and handcrafted in the United States.

President and CEO, Stuart Carlitz, said the Natural Dreams range is designed to assist their retail partners in capitalizing on the increased demand for mattresses built with all-natural,  environmentally friendly materials. Consumers seeking certified natural sleep solutions that are healthier for them and better for the environment will benefit from this collection.

Mattresses created with a mixture of natural Talalay latex, organic cotton, and organic wool are divided into three categories: Tufted, Classic, and Hybrid. The latex is generated from sap sustainably extracted from rubber trees and follows the Rainforest Alliance protocol, which is a set of social, environmental, and economic requirements. It’s hypoallergenic, breathable, odorless, and mold, mildew, bacterium, and dust mite resistant.

The Global Organic Textile Standard and OEKO-TEX have both certified cotton and wool as all-natural. The Hybrid group’s individually pocketed coils are comprised of recyclable steel that has been triple-tempered for comfort and durability.
