Desigual is holding on to its roots while welcoming new creative directions within traditional fashion. The Spanish brand has collaborated with Dutch label Botter to launch a special capsule collection, first made available to members of the Desigual Club.

The collection, titled High Tides, is the first collaboration between Desigual and Botter, led by designers Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter. With High Tides, they bring together Botter’s Caribbean influence and Desigual’s Mediterranean spirit, with water as the connecting theme.

According to Desigual, “High Tides takes inspiration from Botter’s Caribbean roots and Desigual’s Mediterranean identity, using water as a metaphor for unity and flow.” Visually, the collection embraces water through its colours and design. These are paired with black, grey, and touches of bright yellow, reflecting sunset hues.

The collection also features prints of sharks, dolphins, turtles, and coastal sunsets. While these designs may feel familiar, the brands link them to the theme of the sea and highlight their sustainable choices. Materials include recycled and certified fabrics, reused plastic sequins, and Desigual’s signature patchwork that merges both brand names.

Key pieces in the collection are designed to be unisex, including mixed-fabric tops and dresses, jeans with early-2000s style sunset prints, fitted T-shirts with marine imagery, and patchwork T-shirts.
